What you’ll be doing
Provide first-level contact and convey resolutions for customer technical issues. Provide operational support to resolve incidents occurring with deployed applications. Perform revisions to deploy applications to fix known bugs, or to restore/enable capabilities expected to be delivered with the latest version of the application. Curating an internal technical support knowledge base to help other engineers with known issues or workarounds.
What you must have for this position
- At least 3 years of IT or Technical Support experience
- Experience with a SQL-based database such as MySQL
- Ability to write, design, and debug SQL queries and views as needed
- Demonstrable knowledge of the Linux command line
- Strong understanding of web-based applications systems and architecture
- Strong troubleshooting capabilities
- You have used ticketing systems such as Zendesk and Jira to respond to customer inquiries and to file & track bug reports
- Ability to convey technical issues at both high and low levels in a succinct and comprehensive manner
What is nice to have for this position
- Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language, preferably Python
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field preferred
- Experience with AWS Services
- Comfortable doing client-side debugging using browser developer tools
- Familiarity with API’s and associated tools, such as Postman
- Experience working in a fast-paced startup that is always evolving
- Experience with Agile workflows and SDLC
- Experience in healthcare and especially HL7/FHIR
